Maximum Grip Box for 2003-04 Cobra with IRS

The MM Maximum Grip Box includes what you need to bring the performance of your IRS-equipped Mustang Cobra up to the same high level that MM parts have done for the solid-axle equipped cars. The MM Maximum Grip Box is quiet and composed enough for a street car, yet fast enough for the track.

*Bilstein struts and shocks are included only included in the Maximum Grip Box for the 1999 and 2001 Cobra. They are not included in the Maximum Grip Box for the 2003-04 Cobra because those cars came equipped with Ford-specific Bilsteins. The OEM Ford Bilsteins are different for the hardtop and convertible cars. Each type is suitable for a certain range of coil-over spring rates. You will need to have your rear shocks grooved to install the rear coil-over kit. Call our tech line for more info, and to get an RGA to send your shocks back for grooving at no additional charge. For stiffer spring rates, MM now has available MM Sport-valved Bilstein struts and shocks, as well as Race-valved versions.
